Steve Livingston nde zhnëkas

I'm your elected representative for District 1 of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. This site is here to help you stay informed, get involved, and access the support you need — no matter where you live.

Our Tribal Community is strong because of our people — our elders, our youth, our language learners, our traditional crafters, our veterans, our knowledge keepers, our dreamers. My goal is to serve with transparency, integrity, and a deep respect for our shared values.

Let’s keep building a Tribal Community that reflects who we are and what we stand for — together.

Stay Connected with District 1!

Join our Unofficial CPN District 1 Facebook Group to stay informed about news, events, and updates for Citizen Potawatomi Nation members in District 1. It’s a space for sharing resources, asking questions, and building community with fellow citizens across our 16 states.

Virtual Finger Weaving Class!

I’m really excited to share that I'm partnering with the extremely talented CPN District 1 artist, Anna Johnson, for an upcoming finger weaving class!

This is part of a larger effort to create meaningful opportunities for tribal citizens to learn and reconnect with one another, and to bring to the forefront incredible artists, makers, and teachers within our own community to share their skills and knowledge.
